Cost of Fabrication
When considering the cost of these knives, please note that the length of an unfurled Warrior Monk deerhorn knife is 44 inches (111cm).
In sword speak, the average Jian is 29 inches (73cm) long. A Katana 25-30 inches (63-76cm) long. Both are more economical cuts of steel compared to a Deerhorn Knife.
The deerhorn knives are sold in pairs with a total of around 88" (223cm) of steel. Twice the time and effort to fabricate as a single sword. Steel is getting more expensive. The same small sheet of steel that sold for $40 in January08 cost $55 in early July.
Made in the U.S.A.
Made in the USA means that;
the steel was forged in the U.S., the wood was grown in the U.S.,
and the knives were designed and fabricated by an American in North Carolina. The U.S.P.S. is used for shipping.
